Therapeutic philosophy
My approach is client-centred, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based practice. I believe therapy is most effective when clients feel heard, respected, and actively involved in their own therapeutic process. I aim to create a safe, warm, and non-judgmental space where clients can openly explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences at their own pace. I tailor therapy to each client's individual needs, goals, and circumstances, drawing on approaches and techniques from CBT, DBT, and other evidence-based counselling practices where appropriate. I work collaboratively with clients to develop practical coping strategies, improve emotional regulation, build self-understanding, and work towards meaningful change. I also value openness and feedback throughout therapy, encouraging clients to share what feels helpful and what they would like to work on differently.
