Exhaustion
Physical or mental fatigue and difficulty recovering after work.
Burnout test
Burnout is a state of exhaustion associated with prolonged exposure to work demands. It can affect energy, one’s relationship with work, concentration, and emotional regulation.
We use the BAT (Burnout Assessment Tool manual) provided by KU Leuven. The test measures four core symptoms of burnout, presented below.
Physical or mental fatigue and difficulty recovering after work.
Disengagement, loss of interest, or a more negative attitude toward work.
Concentration or memory problems and unusual mistakes.
Emotional reactions that are stronger or harder to control.
This test is a guidance tool. It neither confirms nor rules out burnout and does not replace advice from a doctor, psychologist, or another qualified professional.
