Therapeutische aanpak
My therapeutic style is warm, grounded, and collaborative. I work in a way that combines emotional depth with structure, because I believe therapy is most helpful when you feel both safe and supported, but also guided toward meaningful change. In our work together, I pay attention not only to the difficulties you are facing now, but also to the deeper patterns that may be shaping them: emotional habits, attachment experiences, inner beliefs, relational dynamics, and the way stress or past wounds may be held in the body. My work is integrative and trauma-informed. I draw from clinical psychology, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Systemic Psychotherapy, Trained in EMDR (Level II), and coaching tools where appropriate. This allows me to adapt the process to the person in front of me rather than working in a rigid, one-size-fits-all way. Depending on your needs, we may focus on emotional regulation, relational patterns, unresolved experiences, body-based stress responses, or strengthening inner stability and self-trust. I also care about therapy being useful beyond the session itself. Alongside insight and emotional processing, I help clients develop greater awareness, steadiness, and practical ways of responding differently in daily life. My aim is not to push change too quickly, but to support it in a way that feels safe, realistic, and lasting.
