Their approach

I am a clinical psychologist, registered with the Commission des Psychologues de Belgique. In supporting the various issues that the patients bring me to explore, I will adopt a psychoanalytic orientation; among the main pillars of my practice will be the analysis of unconscious interpersonal and intrapersonal dynamics, and of internal conflicts; understanding the meaning of the symptom, and respecting the uniqueness of your history. The common thread running through my approach is the centrality of the therapeutic relationship. For each difficulty, I will build, together with the patient, a solid therapeutic alliance that allows us to focus on therapeutic goals and develop a personalized approach. My work also draws on expression tools—images, books, art and music—mobilized when the situation calls for it, always in the service of support, progress in therapy, and improved self-expression and a deeper understanding of the emotional sphere. Alongside a clinical approach with a psychoanalytic orientation, when the individual clinical situation requires it, I adopt techniques from cognitive-behavioral approaches and coaching, when the request for help calls for short-term support in the area of emotional regulation or a desired behavioral change.
